Spring 2010 Meeting

Effingham Golf Club

Team and Individual Stableford Competitions played over 18 holes in the AM and 9 holes in the PM. The day starts with coffee and bacon rolls from 0730 and at 0830 a shotgun start. Playing four ball team and individual Stableford competition over 18 holes in the AM, then lunch, followed by team foursomes in the PM over 9 holes. Finishing the day with trophy presentations during afternoon tea.

Play the ball as it lies. Play the course as you find it and if you can't do either, do what is fair, but to do what is fair, you need to know the rules of golf.

If four players average 90 shots for their round and loose 15 seconds preparing for each shot then the time taken for the round is increased by 90 minutes. This takes a 3.5 hour round of golf into 5 hours. Let's see where we can shave those accumulating 15 seconds from our shots and therefore from our rounds.
